The Xanathar is the kingpin of powerful Xanathar Thieves Guild, the dominant criminal syndicate in the city for centuries. It’s unknown whether the same Xanathar has ruled over the city’s underworld for all these centuries, or if it’s a title taken by various crime lords.

What is known, is that the Xanathar Guild gives no quarter, and a gang war has erupted with the rival Black Network, a merchant and mercenary consortium that has begun recruiting the city’s street gangs.
